Sealand Freighters Cargo Safety Policy states that all goods and
products must be transported safely as it is to the client without
being defected or missing during transportation. This is an obligation
vowed to be performed everytime goods and products are transported for
clients. Our clients trust and believe in us that we are going to
deliver their cargoes safely and its our duty to fulfil it and honor the
clients' trust.
To achieve the cargo safety obligations, we have developed strategies that
regulate the handling and transporting of cargoes in the most safest way
without causing damages, defecting or missing.
The safety of our clients cargo is our utmost concern when transporting to
their destinations. We want to deliver our client's cargoes as it is to them.
We make sure all the goods are in good shape before transporting. Safety
checks are performed on the cargo that is being transported and this happens
at two stages, before and during transportation.
1. Before Transporting
After receiving the cargo from the client for transportation, our cargo crew
check the cargoes to make sure none is defective and everything listed and
signed on the docket is inside. If the cargoes are sealed then we check
the container to make sure it sits properly on the trailor and get it ready
for transporting. We report back to client if we find something is not right.
2. On The Road Checks (During Transportation)
There are check points on the roads that we choose to stop and do 'On The Road Checks' on the cargoes. We check the cargoes constanly on the road to make sure the cargoes are transported safely without defects or missing during transportation. We communicate the check results back to the base and the client for updates and for further actions if soemthings is found to be wrong.
